Regularly Scheduled Events

Since our beginning in the Fall of 2003 we Jayhops have unofficially established, or accidentally fallen into having, a few recurring annual events.

They are (in chronological order):

• Spaghetti Party - Marc's - usually in February, if you haven't had Marc's spaghetti sauce you're missing out
• Wing Party - Pancho and Leigh's - usually in June and features a chicken wing contest
• Great Beer Reduction Act (GBRA)^* - Pamela & Philip's - usually in July, but will be moving to a cooler month (probably May in 2007)
• Octobeer - Jeremiah's - usually in October and features a bonfire

^* The GBRA origin actually preceded the formation of Jayhops but has since become a Jayhops event.
